Responsibilities:

  • Attend to other financial transactions, such as plane tickets and travel insurance
  • Calculate cost of travel and accommodations
  • Handle reimbursement in case of transportation and hotel reservations cancellation
  • Recommend suitable products
  • Investigate new travel areas, hotels and other amenities
  • Manage difficult situations with customers
  • Perform general office duties
  • Sell travel products and travel insurance
  • Use principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, which include marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Provide customers with travel information and other details such as regulations, duty free allowances, health risks and requirements, attractions and special events
  • Attend to cancellations and schedule changes
  • Develop contact lists
  • Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing system
  • Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options and travel costs
