Role Overview
McElhanney is excited to add a Transportation Engineer to our team. We’re looking for a transportation engineer who’s curious, analytical, and comfortable working with data to solve real-world mobility challenges. In this role, you’ll contribute to a variety of transportation projects across Western Canada, supporting everything from traffic studies to long-range planning and design.
You’ll work with clients and multidisciplinary teams to understand issues, build models, and develop recommendations that lead to practical, well-informed decisions. You should be comfortable turning complex information into clear, easy-to-understand summaries for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What’s In It For You?
The salary range for this position is $92,000 - $137,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary/wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
