Salary: $90-$130K, based on experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering, P.Eng
• 4-6 years of relevant industry experience
• Roadway Design & Construction experience including geometrics, alignments, utilities, staging, roadside safety, quantity calculations, contract documents and constructability.
• Prepare drawings and designs, contract documents, engineering specifications and cost estimates for municipal roadway, transit facilities and active transportation projects.
• Provide technical guidance for junior staff
• Coordinate construction activities, QA/QC testing and reporting, construction layout, quantity tracking, contractor management, regulatory compliance and as-built information.
• Rural Transportation experience is an asset
• Strong knowledge of Civil3D and AutoCAD
• Excellent analytical and technical capability, as well as interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational ability, in order to manage multiple public and private projects
• Have a continual learning attitude, staying up to date with industry research and developments
