Transport Driver

Seeking a dependable Airport Transport Driver to join our team in Shawnigan Lake. This role involves transporting airline staff and passengers, ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in transport or related driving roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of airport protocols, security procedures, and local area routes.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

Preferred Certifications:

• Class 4 or Class 2 driver’s license is an asset.
• First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport airline personnel and passengers to and from the airport, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues.
• Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and in good operating condition.
• Follow all traffic laws, airport regulations, and company policies.
• Accurately maintain logs, records, and paperwork for each trip.
• Assist passengers with luggage and provide helpful information as needed.
• Monitor road conditions and plan alternative routes to avoid delays.
• Always adhere to airport security and safety regulations.
