Trainee Lightning Protection Engineer - S/E

Trainee Lightning Protection Engineer required for our client, one of UK's leaders in design, installation and maintenance of Lightning Protection systems.

This position is suitable for an adult learner looking to retrain a new skill in a niche industry. It would be a particularly good fit for someone with previous experience of working as an Electrician, Fire and Security installer/ inspector, Telecoms Engineer or a Labourer looking to obtain a more specialised skill.

Trainee Lightning Protection Engineer Position Overview

You would be fully trained in all aspects of the works required to be carried out and have extensive Health and Safety training to ensure that you are always safe and compliant with Health and Safety regulations. Training will be given in all equipment that you would be required to use including working on Mobile Work Platforms and Cherry Pickers.

Trainee Lightning Protection Engineer Position Requirements

1. Full UK Driving Licence
2. Being comfortable working at Heights
3. Being confident interacting with client representatives, site managers, site agents etc.
4. Working towards a NVQ2 in Lightning Protection
5. Commutable distance to Chatham, Kent
6. Happy with travel
