Trainee Entertainment Host

This role requires the successful applicant to work across the West Yorkshire region and may include travelling to other local regions.

We’re a small company going through a period of expansion, so we are recruiting a Trainee Entertainment Host!

During your first 12 months in the business, you will receive the skills and knowledge required to train new Hosts and work towards becoming a Senior Host!

The successful applicant will be required to host events to the high standards outlined by 5 Star Entertainment.

To host an event, you will need to be confident using a microphone, have a good knowledge of a wide variety of music, be outgoing, pleasant, and willing to learn new hosting skills to entertain members of the public.

You will need the ability to make on-the-spot decisions, up-sell current promotions and future events, and make customers feel welcomed and entertained at each event you host. Events vary from pub Quiz Nights to Race Nights, charity events, and “Boozy” Bingo events! Recently, we have launched Casino Events with roulette, blackjack, and 3 card poker, which you will have the opportunity to learn as an Entertainment Host with us!

We provide our audience with entertainment similar to what is performed at holiday parks.

The successful applicant will be expected to work between 20 and 60 hours a month, with the option to pick up additional days/nights. The role comes with a 40-hour full training package. Open interviews are taking place on Saturday, 4th January from 2pm-6pm at The Old Post Office Pub, Brighouse, HD6 1JL. Applicants must bring their passport/ID, CV, and must have a full UK driving license and their own vehicle in order to be seen on the day.

Salary: Training meets NMW/NLW with an increase of up to £1 per hour once training is complete. Applicants must be aged 18+ and have own transport.
