Serve as a primary liaison between provincial and local police, fire, and various emergency responders during incident management.
Communicate with the Ministry of Transportation Traffic Operations Centre by 2-way radio and telephone to provide information and updates pertaining to incidents.
Responsible for completing incident reports.
Coordinate detour routes in the event of an asset (system or road) closure.
Conduct follow-through investigations on all fatalities to determine if facilities contributed to the accident (confirm that all signs were properly posted, etc.).
Track and maintain files on all major incidents and accidents involving assets, personnel, and equipment within contract limitations.
Assist with the administration of third-party claims by gathering documentation, paperwork, and other relevant information.
Coordinate special events involving traffic control, detours, and/or closures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma – required.
Minimum of 2+ years’ work experience in highway maintenance operations, freeway traffic control, and incidents/accidents management.
Valid Class DZ driver’s license is required with a good driving record to drive the company vehicle.
