Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Whitecourt office is recruiting for a Mechanical Tradesperson, Millwright, to join the team in the Slave Lake area. The Position reports to the Day Foreman, in the Conventional/ Oilsands Pipelines Business Unit (COBU), part of Pembina’s Operations Division. Pembina's pipeline assets comprise of a strategically located network of pipelines and related infrastructure including various hubs and terminals. This network transports crude oil, condensate, and NGL across much of Alberta and parts of British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and North Dakota.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, display a goal-oriented attitude, and be eager to be part of a strong team. The shift will be an 8 and 6 shift with 10-hour days and rotating on-call requirements. There is a living allowance included for people that reside in Slave Lake.
This position will support the Slave Lake, AB area, and the successful candidate will need to reside within 50KM of Slave Lake AB.
This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” and so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing which includes testing for marijuana metabolites. You may also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract.
The successful candidate must live within 50 km of Slave Lake, AB.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
