JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a Seasonal Tractor Operator at our Manitoba sites. The primary function of this role is to operate a tractor, perform maintenance, and conduct routine operational tasks. Reporting to the Bog Manager, the role will maintain safety and quality by ensuring the operation of equipment.

Please note: The Peat Tractor Operator position is weather permitting.

Evergreen Bog / 22 Km’s East of Beausejour Manitoba off HWY 44

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE:

1. Operating heavy machinery such as a tractor with a vacuum harvester or harrows
2. Ensuring that machinery, equipment, and tools are operational by performing routine and preventative maintenance (i.e. greasing tractor) and cleaning the machinery and equipment.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

1. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
2. Ability to work as a part of a small team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
3. Mechanical aptitude
4. Able to work flexible hours including weekends
