Toolroom Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Role Overview:

• Provide technical support to Tooling & Design (T&D) and the production line, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and schedule timelines.
• Support project development through to sampling, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer technical expertise in tooling and design to fulfill customer requirements.
• Ensure tooling is fully prepared and functional to support production activities.
• Identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive effective problem-solving.
• Collaborate closely with the toolroom team to support machining needs for tooling modifications and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage toolroom activities by prioritizing jobs, troubleshooting tool-related issues, facilitating repairs, overseeing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring quality workmanship.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Education / Academic Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Tooling, Design, and Injection Molding

Key Experience, Skills & Abilities

• Strong expertise in plastic tooling and design, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
