TICKETING SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (CONTRACT POSITION)

We are currently hiring for the position of:

TICKETING SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

The Ticketing System Administrator is a technical, operational, and support-based role that is responsible for the configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the Archtics ticketing system. Reporting to the Manager, Ticketing Operations, this role will work with other administrators, seasonal staff, and stakeholders from all other relevant departments to ensure our complex ticketing needs are delivered accurately and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure and customize the ticketing system, including:
    • Event builds for seasons, festivals, and new releases
    • Memberships, donations, accreditation, and package setups
    • Online ticketing portals and third-party sales integrations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure a seamless ticketing experience from planning to execution and ongoing support.
  • Prepare reports and customer data lists to support ticketing operations.
  • Maintain quality control across all ticketing initiatives, ensuring accuracy for in-person, phone, and online sales.
  • Provide technical support for internal and external stakeholders, including third-party event organizers, ensuring smooth on-sales through our ticketing system.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and enhance system functionality within the department.
  • Maintain and update process and procedure documentation for ongoing training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB GRADE & SALARY:

· Job Grade 2

· $50,000 (Prorated)

START DATE:
April 21, 2025

END DATE:
December 31, 2025

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1–3 years of experience with Archtics or a similar ticketing system, specifically in event building, reporting, and back-end system configurations.
  • Knowledge of Archtics and HOST systems are an asset.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data relationships and troubleshoot system configurations.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate with individuals of varying technical expertise.
  • Familiarity with the online customer experience, including usability, troubleshooting common issues, and ensuring a smooth purchasing process.
  • Keen attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency under strict deadlines.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Monday through Friday Email and/or phone support in non-office hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • This position will require the successful candidate to come into the office three days a week.
  • Extensive evening and weekend work in office during the August/September Festival period. Desk/computer work and frequent internal meetings.
