Job Overview:

As the Rebound Centre Assistant Manager, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operation of our thrift store. Your primary role will be to ensure smooth operation of the store including the following duties:

• Sort through a high volume of daily deliveries for high quality resale items
• Price items appropriately based on their condition and quality
• Enter and track all items in Shopify inventory and create pricing stickers
• Maintain all aspects of Shopify POS/inventory system
• Generate and analyze Shopify reports to ensure alignment with business KPIs and goals
• Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations including customer service, returns/refunds, online marketing and
• Oversee store layout and maintain cleanliness of the showroom floor and warehouse

Your role will involve being well-versed in retail operations from selling to inventory management. Experience selecting, pricing and selling secondhand goods will be considered an asset. Your experience working with Shopify will help you excel in this role! Adaptability is key, as you will need to navigate through the dynamic landscape of our business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience selling used goods.
• Previous experience using Shopify for inventory management
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment or retail environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and best practices is a plus.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (moving items around the shop)
• Valid class 5 driver's license & clean abstract
