Administer and govern the third-party collection process and monitor the performance and relationship of our external Collection Agency partners. Support compliance with Corporate Credit Policy, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal control environment.

This position has been segmented as hybrid meaning the work is a combination of approximately 90 percent remote/virtual and 10 percent onsite at any regional location as defined by the role segmentation.

Typical pay for this role is around $63,000 - $80,000 per year depending on location and experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Third-Party Collection (TPC) Administrator
    1. TPC App Administration and reporting.
    2. Liaison between US Foods and our Third-Party Collection Agencies to manage the relationship with our partners.
    3. Provide Reporting on KPI’s of Third-Party Collection Agencies to ensure these agencies are optimally collecting on USF Bad Debt receivables.
    4. Reconcile Billing from TPC Agencies.
    5. Approve Legal Placements recommended by the Third-Party Agencies.
    6. Approve and negotiate legal settlements.
  2. Bectran Administration
    1. Monitor the Bectran Channel under our Credit and Collection Reporting Team to make sure user issues related to Bectran are resolved in a timely manner.
    2. Administer the reporting of Online Application %, Auto Approval %, Terms Adjustment Requests and Credit Decision Model performance.
    3. Administer the Collateral data such as Personal Guaranty and UCC Filings to update ERAM and Snowflake reporting.
  3. Reporting
    1. Provide monthly recommendations on how the Third-Party Agencies are performing and facilitate formal reviews with Sr. Credit Leaders.
    2. Provides forecasting and Trend information on collections and bad debt recovery from our Third-Party Collection Agencies to Sr. Credit Leaders.
    3. Provide reports to Ensure compliance with Corporate Credit Policy, partner with Internal Audit on maintaining proper internal control environment and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control framework.
    4. Assist with Adhoc Reporting requests for the Credit Team.
    5. Other Duties as assigned by manager.

RELATIONSHIPS

  1. Internal: Works closely with the Regional and National Credit Managers, Sr. Director of Credit and VP of Q2C to provide insights into the performance of the Third Party Agencies and collection trends.
  2. External: Is the Central Point of contact for our Third Party Agencies. Works with Bectran on reporting and support issues related to our On Line Applications.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Remote: This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Third Party Collection Agencies.
  2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience of data mining and reporting.
  3. Strong Excel Reporting Skills required.
  4. SQL Programming a plus.

EDUCATION

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, Finance or equivalent experience preferred.

  1. Experience working with Bectran On-Line applications and reporting.
  2. Experience working with Sales Force reporting a plus.
  3. Experience working with Microsoft Power Apps.
  4. Experience working with Tableau Dashboards.
  5. Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills.
  6. Attention to Detail - Regularly provides work that is accurate, thorough, and consistent.
  7. Strong Verbal & Written communications. Able to Communicate with all levels of the organization.
  8. Collaborates well with team members and other work associates.
  9. Strong database skills to include SQL, Alation, Snowflake.
  10. Strong Excel skills able to work with Pivot Tables, Charts.
  11. Experience working with Sales Force reporting a plus.
  12. Experience working with Microsoft Power Apps.
  13. Experience working with Tableau Dashboards.
  14. Proficient with MS Office applications including Microsoft Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In Colorado, the expected compensation for this role is between $63,000 and $80,000 per year. In New York City, the expected compensation for this role is between $73,500 and $95,000 per year. In California, the expected compensation for this role is between $70,000 and $90,000 per year. In Washington, the expected compensation for this role is between $70,000 and $90,000 per year. This role is also eligible for Benefits for this role include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
