Uncapped Games of Tencent’s Lightspeed Studios is focused on creating an original, action-packed PC Real-Time Strategy game that has a low barrier to entry and is impossible to master. Our ambitious group of passionate developers is looking for a knowledgeable and versatile Technical Artist to help us unlock the full potential of this project and push boundaries in the genre.

What you’ll get to do:

• Collaborate with the Art and Engineering Teams to help build and support content tools and architecture
• Support Art and UI needs in Unity (Data Implementation, Prefab Setup and Maintenance)
• Help establish and build the Cosmetic Asset Database and validate the content therein
• Help optimize and improve the Art Pipelines with DCC programs like Maya, Houdini, and Substance
• Live Service pipeline work and maintenance

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 3 years in game development with at least 1 shipped game as a Technical Artist
• Good communication skills with both Engineering and Art developers
• Unity expertise with experience using HDRP, Prefabs, UI / Canvas based components
• Willingness to work with and validate complex data and art assets

Pluses:

• A strong passion for RTS games
• MEL and Python scripting knowledge
• Experience with Unity’s VFX Graph and Shadergraph
• Experience with performance optimization for tools, shaders, rendering, etc.

Location State(s):

California. The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $66,560 to $196,690 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
