Netskrt is looking for talented, results-driven Test Engineer to join the Netskrt team. This hybrid position is located in downtown Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities:
- Be very hands-on and work as part of the development team on day-to-day activities and tasks.
- Creating, developing and implementing test plans and strategies.
- Developing and automating tests for software/system validation.
- Testing and verifying that software meets major functional, architectural and scalability requirements.
- Detecting bugs and software defects.
- Implementing and managing bug tracking system; logging, tracking and reporting on test progress through various cycles of development and testing.
- Provide feedback to the development and product teams regarding quality, risk areas and improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or similar role.
- Deep understanding of QA, the uses and methods of software testing.
- Excellent testing skills (designing test plans and test strategies, writing test cases, executing test cases, logging bugs, verifying bugs).
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Experience using test management and bug tracking systems, e.g., TM4J, JIRA.
- Experience developing and using automated testing tools, e.g., Selenium.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience in testing/deploying large scale applications using development environments and tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins.
- Experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Wide knowledge in networking, security, database and cloud systems.
- Experience with caching and CDN (content delivery network) technologies (Netflix, Amazon, Google, Limelight, Akamai, Fastly).
- Data security (TLS/SSL and related ecosystems).
