Territory Sales Representative, Industrial
TERRITORY: Southern Alberta

SUMMARY:
The Territory Sales Representative, Industrial is responsible for the sale of industrial heavy equipment throughout their territory. This individual will serve as an ambassador for JJE Industrial products and a solution provider for our customers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/ Certification:
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Sales, Business, Marketing, a related program, OR equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract and possess or have the ability to obtain a CDL license
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
Experience:
- 4+ years’ experience in an Outside Sales/ Sales Manager role or a related Sales position
- Experience with the full sales cycle (prospecting, demos, quoting, deliveries)
- Exposure to a heavy equipment/heavy truck work environment is an asset
- Previous experience in an industrial, utility or construction environment
- Advanced experience using MS Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all sales activities within assigned territory, with a focus on increasing sales year over year in alignment with established targets
- Collaborate and work effectively with Industrial team and customer support
- Manage current accounts
- Prospect, build and maintain new customer relationships
- Provide demonstrations and training as required to effectively represent the industrial product lines represented within the territory
- Attend industry events, training or tradeshows to ensure up-to-date knowledge on JJE products and to represent JJE in the industry
- Prepare forecasts and reports related to assigned territory
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employees must:
- Work in compliance with the appropriate safety legislation/regulations/safety policies
- Report any known workplace hazard or safety violations
- Cooperate with their workplace’s Safety Committee or health and safety representative
- Use any safety equipment, protective devices or clothing required
- Not remove or make ineffective any protective device required by the Company or by the regulations.
OTHER DETAILS:
Travel Expectations:
- 80% - 90%: Travelling to different clients throughout territory, ability to travel to Canada to attend meetings, tradeshows and training sessions
Physical Demand:
- Continuously required to remain in a stationary position
- Occasionally required to lift and move moderately heavy objects
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
