What does a great Territory Manager do?

This is a business development role, responsible for building relationships within the bank and sourcing new business and referrals from within their respective portfolios. This role requires travel within the province of Quebec and is responsible for territory management of the bank branch network. You will tirelessly network and prospect within your market to identify and close new business, both at the SMB and CMM level. You will have complete end-to-end ownership of the entire sales cycle, managing a pipeline of business, navigating throughout the various sales stages, and successfully closing the sale.

As a Territory Manager, you can look forward to:

  1. Networking amongst banking professionals
  2. Building market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing new business relationships
  3. Using a consultative sales approach to uncover needs and determine the best solution offering for the merchant
  4. Selling and negotiating pricing and contract terms with potential opportunities
  5. Managing and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities

  3. Has excellent and persuasive communication skills, both oral and written
  4. Has an interest in technology and is passionate about how our products can help others
  5. Is resourceful and can work autonomously with minimal guidance

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  1. Bilingual, French and English
  2. Minimum 3 years B2B sales experience
  3. Merchant Services, Point-of-Sale or Software sales experience is strongly preferred but not required
  4. Post-Secondary Education
