Located in Yellowknife, the Territorial Specialist, Cervical Cancer Screening (CCS) will report directly to the Territorial Manager, Cancer Care (TMCC) and is responsible for ensuring the provision of safe, quality care to clients and families of the Cervical Cancer Screening Program, and providing reporting on quality outcomes. This position focuses on the effective delivery and implementation of a Territorial organized cervical screening service that will provide equitable access to cervical cancer screening services to all eligible residents of the NWT.
The incumbent will work to plan, develop, implement, administer, coordinate, and evaluate the necessary functions of a territorial organized cervical cancer screening program, ensuring equitable service is provided to all individuals outlined in the “Cervical Cancer Screening Guidelines for the NWT.”
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
A Baccalaureate of Nursing and ten (10) years of recent experience in a clinical health care setting. Experience in public health screening/promotion and project management would be an asset.

The salary for this position starts at $58.31 per hour (approximately $113,705 per annum) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
