Terminal Operative (tier 4) – No Experience Needed!
Location: London Gateway, Stanford-le-Hope
Salary: £35,000 basic (with overtime and bonus up to £50,000+)
Shifts: 12-hour rotating day & night shifts (pattern with guaranteed rest days) – 4x on 4x off once progressing to next tier.

If you’ve worked as an HGV Shunter, Yard Shunter, Skip Drivers, Ro-Ro Drivers, Bin Lorry Drivers, Plant Operative, 360 Excavator Operator, Dumper Driver, Digger Driver, Straddle Carrier Driver, Banksman, Slinger, JCB Operator, Heavy Plant Operator, Cranes (all types), Dock Yard Plant, or similar – this could be your next big career move!

What You’ll Do:

1. Operate state-of-the-art terminal machinery (Tractors, Shuttle Carriers & more)
2. Safely move shipping containers within the port
3. Conduct safety checks & assist with railhead operations
4. Work at ground level and at heights (up to 20m) – so must have a head for heights

Qualifications:

No formal qualifications are needed, but you must have operated either of the mentioned equipment and have a good level of communications (verbal and written).
