Tenure-track faculty position in municipal and local politics

The Department of Political Science at Université Laval is inviting applications for a full-time tenure-track position of Professor in Municipal and Local Politics. Candidates from all subfields of Political Science or related disciplines are encouraged to submit their applications.

Responsibilities include:

1. Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate (M.A. and Ph.D.) levels.
2. Supervising graduate students.
3. Engaging in research activities and publications.
4. Participating in outreach and active participation in university committees.
5. Performing any other activities outlined in the collective agreement for professors.

The successful candidate will be integrated into the department as a regular professor starting from July 1, 2025, or at an earlier date.
