Temporary Trades Workers for Power Plant Shut Down

TEMPORARY TRADES (Millwrights, Welders, Pipefitters)

This position involves Maintenance opportunities in our biomass facility from May 20 to June 30 when the projected work is completed. You will learn all safety procedures throughout the Power Plant. We would prefer that temporary trades hires remain available for the entire duration of the shutdown; however, we also can offer some flexibility - i.e. individuals who may be on a 7 on/7 off or similar. Work Schedule: 12 hour day shifts.

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Certification (Millwright, Pipe Fitter, Welder)
• Valid Class 5 Drivers license
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently follow safe work practices and procedures as outlined by Conifex
• Proven ability to work both independently, or in a team environment.
• Solid background in heavy industry.
