Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician looking for a new challenge? This position will be responsible for safely operating compressor stations ensuring safety and reliability. This is a maintenance and operations position based in Price George (BC). #joinourteam

What You Will Do

1. Complete the Operator Qualifications Training program for each station within your region as required.
2. Operate and maintain all facility equipment at station(s) throughout the region.
3. Complete all required safety, operations, and maintenance training.
4. Create/review procedures.
5. Must be willing to work away from home if required and able to work On Call and Overtime.
6. Work with support groups (Planner/Finance, etc).
7. Be capable of working all Unifor 4960 shifts.

Who You Are

You have the following qualifications and skills:

Required

1. Journeyperson Millwright or Heavy Duty Mechanic.
2. Valid driver’s license.
3. Undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5 year driving record, criminal check, and drug testing.
4. 3-5 years related work experience.
5. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred

1. Dual ticketed Journeyperson Electrician, Instrument Mechanic and/or Millwright in addition would be considered an asset.
2. Ability to multi-task and change duties quickly.
3. Demonstrated self-starter.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Able to carry out daily duties with minimal supervision and support.
6. Experience working in the oil & gas industry.
