Rygiel Supports for Community Living is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals in the community who have a developmental disability, as well as other varying abilities. Our mandate is to enable each person to lead a fulfilled and participatory life within the community.
Rygiel will be embarking on the "Journey to Belonging: Choice and Inclusion." This initiative lays out the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services’ long-term vision for developmental services in Ontario. Our goal is to ensure that people with developmental disabilities are fully supported to participate in their communities.
Position Summary
Are you passionate about being part of a society where everyone belongs and is valued? Rygiel Supports for Community Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities in Hamilton.
The Support Worker is a full participating member of the staff team, which provides support to individuals to have meaningful relationships, activities and work within his/her community. The Support Worker will exercise and model skills to support and enable the team to work collectively with the individual in addressing and meeting the needs identified by the Individual Support Plan, Daily Support Guide and help to bring about the individual’s visions.
