Telecommunications Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician proficient in structured cabling, alarm systems, door access installations, and fiber optics. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing various telecommunications systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install and maintain structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic cables.
2. Set up and troubleshoot security systems, access control, public address systems, and CCTV.
3. Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively.
4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
5. Provide exceptional service to clients and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in telecommunications, specifically in structured cabling, alarm systems, and fiber optics.
2. Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
3. Security Clearance Certificate and bilingualism are assets.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Valid Ontario driver’s license.

Schedule:

1. Full-time (30–40 hours per week).

Experience:

Telecommunications: 1 year preferred.
