MOBIA is currently recruiting a Telecom Production Tech to join our team in the GTA, Ontario. This role involves assembling, installing, and mounting telecommunication equipment (such as 4G/5G radios, Microwaves, and Small Cell units) according to work orders, including unpacking and verifying materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assembling and installing telecommunication equipment according to work order (4G/LTE/5G radios, Microwave, Small Cell, Pico Cell, etc.)
2. Receiving materials, unpacking & verification of work orders & specifications
3. Identifying missing materials and reporting to management
4. Installation, mounting, and placement of telecommunication equipment in relay racks and h-frames (crimping, soldering, bix wiring, continuity testing, and use of basic telecom diagnostic tools)
5. Cutting different types of cables to length and creating cable assemblies
6. Reading & interpreting equipment installation manuals and drawings
7. Other duties as required.

Skills/Qualifications:

1. Previous Warehouse Experience is an asset
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment to meet customer deadlines
4. Lifting and moving equipment up to 80 lbs. (work classification: heavy work)
5. This is a warehouse production-based position, but the ability to occasionally travel or work in the field is an asset
6. Bilingual is an asset but not required
7. Strong problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail
8. Ability to think critically
