Deliverables:
Strategic Business Analysis and Technical Expertise.

1. Planning, scoping and development of an in-year TB/MB business case to seek project/funding approval.
2. Engagement with IO for options analysis and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
The consultant will provide strategic advice and technical expertise on Data Centre infrastructure services to facilitate the development of any (RFB's) for various Data Centre technologies and architecture delivered based on the client's service specifications, standards, policies, best practices, and cost models. This will include drafting strategic documents, presentations, and financial models. The Resource will lead the business requirements of any RFB's by working with various Government stakeholder groups to accomplish a successful RFB outcome. The Resource will also develop materials in line with the OPS service delivery processes, infrastructure policies, procedures, direction, cost models, and established procurement processes. This Resource will incorporate I&IT information mandates, strategic plans, I&IT environment, and standards into the materials.

Evaluation Breakdown:

1. In-depth knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure Technology and Architecture - 30%

Parameters:
Demonstrated 10+ years' experience working at an Enterprise level in a technical or business capacity with experience in n-Tiered Data Centre Networks and Tier-IV Data Centre environments.

1. Experience developing business case documentation for DC related board submissions - 20%

Parameters:
Demonstrated 8+ years preparing/developing and responding to questions for treasury board submissions and related business planning for government complex Enterprise Data Centres hosted in a certified Tier-IV Data Centre environment.

1. Experience analyzing and evaluating service delivery models for Data Centres - 20%

Parameters:
Demonstrated 10+ years preparing business case assessments related to service delivery models for modernizing cloud and complex data center environments.

Must Haves:
Experience with deploying applications in a Tier-IV Data Centre - most important.
Experience with cloud environment and data center technical design, re-engineering, and modernizing for cloud environment.
Experience with government treasury board and business cases.
