The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Technician, Accounts Payable. This job is full-time permanent.
We're looking for talented and enthusiastic people to join our professional accounts payable team. You must bring a progressive and innovative attitude and be ready for challenges.
Your challenges:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable, you will be part of a dynamic group recognized for its true team spirit. As accounts payables technician you will be responsible for one or more sites, working closely with internal and external customers to provide operational support.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Analysis and validation of account statements;
- Analysis and resolution of problematic invoices;
- Take part in the month-end process;
- Processing and recording of invoices in the various systems mainly SAP and Guide TI;
- Constant communication with sites and suppliers to ensure proper treatment of invoices;
- Monitoring of debtor suppliers and accruals;
- Respond to emails and calls in a timely manner;
Your profile:
- Having completed a DEC, AEC, DEP or a Bachelor in Administration or Accounting is an asset;
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar position, preferably in a large company;
Your skills:
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in both official languages;
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Teams;
- Making customers and their needs a primary focus of your actions;
- Solid planning and organizing skills;
- Ability to work as a team member, communicate with all levels of the organization and adapt quickly to change.
