Altruck International Truck Centres is looking for a licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician to join our Goderich team. If you have a passion for trucks, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to quality service, this is your opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team.

As a 310T Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on medium and heavy-duty trucks, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

1. Perform maintenance & repairs – Service diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
2. Diagnose & troubleshoot issues – Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and fix mechanical problems.
3. Conduct inspections – Identify potential issues before they escalate into major repairs.
4. Follow manufacturer guidelines – Use technical manuals and service data for accurate repairs.
5. Communicate with customers – Explain necessary repairs and maintenance recommendations.
6. Work efficiently – Meet deadlines to minimize downtime for customers.
7. Stay updated on training – Participate in company-sponsored and dealer-specific training courses.
8. Maintain a safe & organized workspace – Follow safety protocols and best practices.

What You Bring (Requirements & Qualifications)

1. 310T Truck & Coach Technician License (Required)
2. 1–3 years of experience as a heavy-duty truck technician (or equivalent industry experience)
3. Valid G-Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record
4. Must have necessary hand tools
5. Ability to read and follow technical instructions
6. Strong mechanical aptitude & problem-solving skills
7. Excellent communication & customer service skills
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bonus Qualifications (Preferred Skills)

1. Experience with medium & heavy-duty trucks
2. Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment
3. Experience with fleet management software (e.g., Fleet Complete)
4. Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)
