Job description

As part of the Mandatory Reliability Standards (MRS), our client is implementing a Planning Coordinator Office (PCO) to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Planning Coordinator function. The Project Team requires a Technical Writer to put together - with the support of the technical subject matter experts - a number of procedure documents for the Planning Coordinator Team. The Planning Coordinator Office is within the Integrated Planning Asset Management organization and will be comprised of a small team of engineers (planners) who will be responsible for carrying out the activities required of the MRS Planning Coordinator function. There are a number of procedure documents that will need to be written to support the implementation of the PCO, and then additional documents which will be required as additional standards come into effect.

What you need to have:

  • A minimum six (6) years of working experience as a writer.
  • Experience as an advisor and coach to senior management.
  • Excellent verbal and written English.
  • Applicants will be required to submit a relevant writing portfolio and relevant work experience.

You will be accountable for:

  • Plan, research, write and edit senior-level corporate communications products and reports, speeches, and presentations.
  • Coach and advise senior leadership and support their growth as communications leaders within their teams.
  • Provide communications planning support and guidance to project teams.
  • Lead portfolios of work on project teams for various departments beyond discreet assignments such as consultation processes and change management processes.
