Job description

Our client seeks a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join their team. This role is pivotal in representing the organization and its affiliated companies to customers, building strong relationships, and driving business growth. The successful candidate will focus on maximizing opportunities with both existing and potential clients while managing the Mississauga Ontario territory to ensure exceptional service and sales performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Territory Management & Sales: Efficiently navigate Central Ontario to minimize travel costs, identify opportunities, close sales, and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  2. Customer Relationship Building: Regularly engage with key clients to personalize relationships, foster loyalty, and provide value-added solutions for equipment and supply needs.
  3. Data & Project Management: Update and manage CRM systems, oversee customer projects, and ensure timely reporting and analysis for sales activities.
  4. Training & Development: Actively participate in training, share insights on sales strategies, and contribute to the development of marketing plans and tools.
  5. Collaborative Growth: Support continuous improvement efforts, communicate sales insights, and undertake additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:

  1. P. Eng (Mechanical Engineering)
  2. 5 years of experience in a technical sales role, providing solutions directly to customers
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software.
  4. Interpersonal communication skills. Listening skills.
  5. Negotiation skills and ability to close a sale.
  6. Analytical mind, autonomy, sense of responsibility and good time management.
  7. Results Orientation
