Responsibilities:

  1. 180 recruitment, including sourcing candidates using a variety of strategies, tools, and platforms;
  2. Conducting introductory phone interviews, as well as all other screening activities such as references and document review;
  3. Engage in mind-boggling conversations with architects, and match them with the perfect career opportunities;
  4. Coach and consult candidates on what opportunities would be best for their personal career growth, based on their goals;
  5. Make good judgment calls - spot a future design superstar from a mile away;
  6. Assembling professional submission packages to represent candidates to our clients;
  7. Have an astute understanding of the clients/companies we represent;
  8. Continuously educate yourself on the architecture and design industry, trends, news, and competitive landscape;
  9. Weekly team meetings to discuss operations and strategy for meeting all of our client requirements;
  10. Participate in client meetings to gain an understanding of their business and requirements;
  11. Gather feedback from placed candidates on how work is going and provide performance-based feedback to them;
  12. Participate in networking events to build relations and continue to learn about the industries you are hiring for;
  13. Maintain candidate records through detailed note-taking and data integrity;
  14. Partner with account managers to assist with lead generation through sharing industry intel gained from candidate conversations;

Must haves:

  1. 1+ years of experience working as either a recruiter at an agency, in an outbound sales position, or a KPI-driven customer service role.
  2. Strong verbal and written communication and a demonstrated ability to build relationships quickly.
  3. An innate sense of curiosity that keeps you awake at night wondering about the future of architecture.
  4. Bachelor's degree (technical field preferred).
  5. Kind, empathetic, curious, smart.

Nice-to-haves:

  1. Experience in or close ties to the architecture, interior design, or construction industry.
  2. Located in Vancouver or Toronto.
  3. French working proficiency.

This role offers a competitive base salary and a commission structure, as well as several other benefits and perks that are unmatched in the industry. This role is a 180 recruitment position. Cultural fit is extremely important.
