Explore your next role:

As a key member of the Quality Control team, the Technical Records Administrator will be responsible for auditing technical documents of work completed by staff for accuracy, completeness, neatness and compliance following guidelines provided by Canadian and foreign Aviation Regulations and the MPM.

Your responsibilities:

  • Audit complete Task Cards and Cost centers for legibility, spelling and completeness.
  • Ensure all required documentation is attached and complete.
  • Remove/install parts in the CMP, update and ensure component tracking is correct.
  • Update airframe and component tracking in the CMP.
  • Ensure scheduled tasks are in compliance with the work set out by planning.
  • Open and close maintenance Tasks Cards, entering audited and completed paperwork into the CMP.
  • Enter required parts into the CMP as requested by maintenance.
  • Sort and review journey and technical logbook pages for Voyageur Aerotech managed aircraft. Enter journey log Pages to update flight times and cycle in the CMP.
  • Compose and send Modification reporting forms to Transport Canada, FAA or EASA.
  • Transcribe technical logbook entries for Major Components, Engines, APUs and Propellers.
  • Investigate and ensure corrections to discrepant paperwork by communication with Project Managers.
  • Investigate and ensure corrections to rotable component discrepancies with Quality Manager and Project Managers.
  • Audit technical records of customer aircraft for compliance to manufacturer and regulatory requirements.
  • Scan all completed task cards and cost centers.
  • Print work order control reports and future maintenance forecasts to be provided to the Project Managers.
  • Facilitate the delivery of aircraft records to customers.
  • Ensure completed work packages and other files are maintained and organized appropriately.
  • Liaise and coordinate with various personnel based on position needs.
  • Additional duties as required.

Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Post-secondary education in Office Administration or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience.
  • Reliable, responsible and self-motivated with demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Strong aptitude for detail and precision.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Computer proficiency with Office 365 and quick to learn new technology (i.e., systems, platforms, etc.).

You must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.

Location and other Key Details:

  • You will work out of our North Bay head office.
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday.
