We seek a Technical Project Manager in technology professional services to join our team! What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Pre-sales Project Management (75% of the time):
    • Ability to submit proposals for potential project work
    • Ability to produce estimates into a resource plan
    • Ability to support RFPs
    • Setting the timeline, budget, and roles for implementing the project
    • Participate and support client pitches and proposals by preparing project budgets, timelines, and related materials.
    • Leading the discovery meetings with the potential client and the final proposal presentation with a clear value proposition
  2. Project Management (25% of the time):
    • Manage and deliver technical projects, products, and apps on budget, on time, on schedule, and to a high degree of customer satisfaction
    • Define (with key stakeholders) and manage project scope, risk, schedule, budget, quality, and communication
    • Lead 1 or 2 smaller-sized project teams through all phases of the project life-cycle, providing coaching, motivation, and inspiration
    • Responsible for project revenue management and reporting
    • Effectively interact with clients at a variety of levels.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of project management experience managing technical professional services and digital projects.
  • A track record of delivering complex projects on time and budget while maintaining effective client and team relationships
  • Highly developed communication, presentation, leadership, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of talents, personalities, and teams
  • Ability to work under pressure, within tight deadlines and maintain a good sense of humor, tact, and professionalism
  • Have analytical and financial skills to forecast and report revenue, expenses, and project completion milestones

Location

This position will be remote, situated in Vancouver to occasionally meet up with our Vancouver-based team and team members on projects. While Aequilibrium is remote, we host in-person engagement events per quarter. Ability to occasionally travel to on-site client meetings or events in Canada, the United States, and Europe.

Reporting

Reporting to the Head of Technology and dotted line to the CEO.

Compensation

The typical salary range for this position is CAD $75K—$85K annually. Salary offered will be based on skills, experience, and market data.
