The Role

SensorUp is seeking an innovative and experienced Technical Product Manager with expertise in methane emissions management to join our agile and fast-paced team. This role is pivotal in defining and delivering cutting-edge product solutions to address the challenges of methane emissions Measurement, Reporting, Verification, and Repair (MRVR) for the oil and gas industry.

Your Influence

• Product Strategy : Lead the product vision and roadmap for SensorUp's methane emissions management software, aligning it with company objectives and industry trends.
• User-Centered Design : Collaborate with customers, industry stakeholders, and internal teams to gather requirements, identify pain points, and ensure products meet the unique needs of methane management workflows.
• Technology Integration : Work closely with engineering and data science teams to ensure seamless integration of advanced methane measurement technologies, geospatial data, and IoT solutions into the platform.
• Agile Development : Serve as the product owner in Agile development cycles, managing backlogs, prioritizing features, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Industry Leadership : Stay up to date on methane emissions regulations, reporting standards, and emerging technologies to guide product innovation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to develop go-to-market strategies, sales enablement materials, and customer training programs.

Your Experience

• Product Management Expertise : Proven experience in technical product management, particularly in the methane emissions, oil and gas, or environmental technology sectors.
• Methane Knowledge : Strong understanding of methane measurement technologies, emissions reporting standards, and the oil and gas industry's regulatory landscape.
• Technical Acumen : Familiarity with IoT platforms, geospatial technologies, and multi-scale measurement solutions.
• Agile Experience : Hands-on experience as a product owner in Agile development environments, with a track record of successfully delivering complex technical products.
• Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Problem Solving : Analytical mindset with a knack for turning complex challenges into innovative solutions.
• Collaboration : Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships across teams and stakeholders.
• Nice to have : Experience in ESG / GHG or environmental data management.
