This service supports Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure Sector clients and ProSidian Team Members work as part of the Engagement Team Cadre to provide Hanford Advisory Board (HAB or Board) Facilitation Support and OBO The Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office. These general support services support The HAB, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Environmental Management Site Specific Advisory Board.

The Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office, is in need of general support services to support the Hanford Advisory Board for six issue-based standing committees: 1) Executive Issues Committee; 2) Tank Waste; 3) River & Plateau; 4) Health, Safety, & Environmental Protection; 5) Budgets & Contracts; and 6) Public Involvement and Communications.

The ProSidian Engagement Team is responsible for labor, supplies, equipment, all logistics for meeting space, meeting execution/administration, recordkeeping, and other activities needed to facilitate interaction among the Tri-Party Agreement (TPA) agencies and members of the Board. The key objective is to provide facilitation and general support services to the DOE in its mission with the HAB.

Technical Assistant (General Clerk III) - HAB | Kennewick, WA - GSSC Candidates shall work to support requirements for FY21-004: Hanford Advisory Board (HAB) Facilitation Support Swim Lanes and:

  1. Meeting Schedules, Agendas, and Work Plans: Establish and distribute all HAB meeting schedules, agendas, and work plans in consultation with the DOE HAB Coordinator(s) or their delegate.
  2. Committee and Board Meeting Agendas: Work with agency representatives to ensure committee and Board agenda topics are included in a timely manner.
  3. Communications with Agency Representatives: Maintain open and effective communications with agency representatives.
  4. HAB Annual Reports: Develop and distribute the HAB Annual Report as requested.
  5. HAB/Public Involvement Survey: Assist with Ecology’s Annual HAB/Public Involvement Survey.
  6. HAB Library: Maintain a HAB library per FACA guidelines.
  7. Administrative Procedures: Monitor and assist in carrying out administrative procedures as developed by the Board.

The Technical Assistant (General Clerk III) - HAB | Kennewick, WA - GSSC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years. Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.

Four years of relevant experience organizing meetings and providing administrative assistance to teams.

  • U.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)

  • Must be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements.

TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements.
