Applications are now being accepted for Teaching Assistants for the Winter 2025 term. Teaching Assistants offer support for the delivery of undergraduate courses by providing instructor(s) with qualified undergraduate or senior graduate students who can assist with marking assignments, exams/quizzes, student tutorial assistance, exam invigilation, and other general duties as assigned.
Priority will be given to applicants who maintain status as full-time students at the University of Regina in the term the position is offered (Winter 2025). Preference will be given to fourth year and graduate students who have a good academic background relevant to Political and International Studies. Students must be familiar with proofreading and editing, self-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Teaching assistants are being sought to assist with multiple 100-level, 200-level, and 300-level Political and International Studies courses. Time commitment for each course varies depending on the number of students enrolled in the assigned course and the amount of assistance requested by the instructor. Work hours are flexible and to be negotiated between the student and the instructor/Department Head.
