They’re looking for a Tandem QA Analyst for a six month contract
Description
Conduct a wide variety of quality-control tests such as functional, regression and integration.
Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts.
May participate in and/or manage User Acceptance Testing with customers.
Perform analysis to ensure that standards and end-user requirements are met.
Conduct testing according to established procedures.
Document problems, retest to ensure problems are solved.
Create test data files to test logic and verify flow/functionality.
Identify, recommend and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies.
Liaise with internal team members, end users and/or other departments as required.
Seek and provide candid and timely feedback to improve performance.
Ensure commitments to external or internal customers are met in a timely manner.
Solicit feedback in order to improve products or services.
Build and maintain external and internal relationships.
Work autonomously.
Make decisions affecting work performed.
Qualifications
Must have strong Tandem skills.
Experience writing test plans, test cases and reporting test results independently.
Full software development lifecycle experience.
SQL skills.
Good written and communication skills.
Excellent technical documentation skills.
BASE24 processing system for financial institutions an asset.
