They’re looking for a Tandem QA Analyst for a six month contract

Description

• Conduct a wide variety of quality-control tests such as functional, regression and integration.
• Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• May participate in and/or manage User Acceptance Testing with customers.
• Perform analysis to ensure that standards and end-user requirements are met.
• Conduct testing according to established procedures.
• Document problems, retest to ensure problems are solved.
• Create test data files to test logic and verify flow/functionality.
• Identify, recommend and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies.
• Liaise with internal team members, end users and/or other departments as required.
• Seek and provide candid and timely feedback to improve performance.
• Ensure commitments to external or internal customers are met in a timely manner.
• Solicit feedback in order to improve products or services.
• Build and maintain external and internal relationships.
• Work autonomously.
• Make decisions affecting work performed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Tandem skills.
• Experience writing test plans, test cases and reporting test results independently.
• Full software development lifecycle experience.
• SQL skills.
• Good written and communication skills.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.
• BASE24 processing system for financial institutions an asset.
• Experience with Mercury TestDirector preferred.
