Kardium’s mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. To achieve this, we have developed The Globe Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.

We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging top talent to meet the hiring needs of our rapidly growing organization. You will utilize creative sourcing techniques, build talent pipelines, and partner with Talent Acquisition Advisors to ensure a smooth recruitment process. This is a critical role for someone passionate about finding and connecting with exceptional candidates.

Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Meaningful work you will be a part of

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Talent Sourcing and Pipeline Development
  • Proactively source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Use innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive candidates.
  • Support Talent Acquisition Advisors with resume review and shortlisting from current job postings.
  • Candidate Engagement
    • Initiate contact with potential candidates via LinkedIn, email, and other platforms to generate interest in open roles.
    • Act as a brand ambassador, effectively communicating the organization’s culture, values, and opportunities.
    • Build long-term relationships with potential candidates for ongoing hiring needs.
  • Collaboration with Talent Acquisition Advisors
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition Advisors to understand role requirements, key skills, and team dynamics.
    • Provide market insights and data to Advisors to refine sourcing strategies.
    • Share candidate profiles and participate in shortlisting discussions.
  • Data Management and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), Dayforce.
    • Track sourcing metrics such as candidate response rates, etc.
    • Prepare and present sourcing activity reports to recruitment leadership.
  • Market Research
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor hiring practices, and talent market conditions.
    • Provide insights on challenges in sourcing and suggest innovative solutions.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance the sourcing process through automation, tools, or training.
    • Keep up-to-date with new sourcing techniques and platforms.

    You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of prior experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, or a related role.
    • Hands-on experience with sourcing tools and techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches).
    • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM tools, preference for experience in Dayforce but not required.
    • Strong knowledge of sourcing platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and niche job boards.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proactive mindset with attention to detail.

    Compensation

    Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.

    As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.

    • $75,000-85,000 (CAD Annually)

    The total cash we’ve listed for this position includes a base salary, plus a contribution to a Registered Retirement Savings plans (RRSP) to help support your financial goals.
