Nexus combines the strategic capability of a big four consultancy with the activation capability of a boutique marketing/communications agency. Some of our areas of expertise include Purpose, Values, Culture Transformation, Talent Acquisition, Orientation and onboarding, Employer Brand/EVP, Performance and Development, Talent Management, Recognition, and Learning.

What You'll Do

You're a consultant at heart – an experienced, client-facing professional with deep expertise in Talent and Culture. You thrive on untangling complex problems, breaking them down to their core, and designing marketable, actionable solutions that make a real impact.

You'll take a lead role in shaping and delivering strategic talent and culture solutions for our clients. Your work will include:

  • Leading client projects by conducting research, interviews, and workshops, and translating key findings into insights reports that shape strategy.
  • Building the development of core culture elements – like employee value propositions (EVPs), values, cultural narratives, and key messaging – that bring strategy to life.
  • Preparing clear, strategic presentations and models to guide client work and support new business opportunities.
  • Building strong, trust-based client relationships that lead to growth of overall account.
  • Designing solution frameworks, which will include embedding thought leadership, proposing timelines, mobilizing internal and external resources, developing budgets, and creating cost structures for each program.
  • Collaborating with the business development team to create solution-based proposals for enterprise-level client engagements that leverage our areas of expertise.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Broad HR expertise that extends beyond recruitment/talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in areas such as talent management, learning and development, total rewards, employee engagement, and/or DE&I.
  • Strong business acumen developed through experience in complex organizations, consulting roles, and/or enterprise-level strategy environments.
  • Proven consulting skills, including working with senior stakeholders to gather input, shape strategy, and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Confident and proactive communicator, comfortable engaging with all levels of an organization, including the C-suite.
  • Deep understanding of organizational structures, culture, and dynamics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clarify complex information, identify value propositions and differentiators, and articulate solutions.
  • Comfortable managing tight deadlines and managing multiple, competing priorities.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to client service.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Collaborative team player who can also operate independently.
  • Experienced in guiding and educating both internal teams and client stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

Must Haves

In addition to the Experience, Knowledge and Skills described above, you MUST have the following:

  • University graduate with a business focus.
  • Previous experience (at least 5 years) in complex business settings, consulting environments and/or enterprise strategy business environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise and appreciation for complex talent-facing/Human Resources topics.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Experience with Project Management software would be a nice to have.

This is a great career opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic professional with the attributes described above, energy and drive, as well as problem-solving expertise. If you're looking for meaningful work with real impact, this role offers the chance to contribute to projects that shape workplace experiences and improve the lives of millions.
