Schindler products can be found in many well-known buildings throughout Canada, including Scotia Plaza, Bay & Adelaide, Edmonton Arena, Calgary Airport, and Vancouver Canada Line.
You will be responsible for handling recruitment activities for positions across Canada. A typical day will find you conducting intake meetings with the hiring managers, finding talent from various sources, and building relationships with candidates. At Schindler, a positive candidate experience is the key driver to a successful process. A ‘customer first’ mindset is equally important as finding the right talent.
Your regular responsibilities:
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Some experience in agency recruiting or In-House recruiting.
• Dedicated to providing a good ‘customer experience’.
• A natural communicator comfortable in conversing at all levels in the organization.
• A natural curiosity to learn, ask questions, and network within the Company.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors would be amazing but not essential!
• A creative writer able to write exciting job descriptions and adverts.
• Understand the need to run recruiting processes with a D&I focus.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and unflappable!
• Likes working in a collaborative environment, having fun, bringing new ideas and impetus to the team.
• Attend occasional networking events to build relationships and create a pipeline for future talent.
• Deliver a recruitment process with a focus on inclusivity, introducing a strength of diverse candidates to each requisition.
