Contract: 6-month hybrid contract position with the possibility for extension. Minimum of 2 days on-site per week.

As a Talent Acquisition Partner at Komatsu Mining Corp, you will be at the forefront of our mission to build a world-class team that drives innovation and excellence in the mining industry. You will play a crucial role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent to drive our organization's growth and success. You will collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand their talent needs, develop sourcing strategies, and execute recruitment plans to meet hiring goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing recruitment tools and coaching managers on best practices.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
  • Promote Komatsu Mining Corp’s employer value proposition (EVP) and brand to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate recruitment events, including scheduling, logistics, and promotional activities.
  • Utilize recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and ATS to identify and engage with potential candidates.
  • Develop recruitment tools, including assessment tools and interview packages, to streamline the candidate evaluation process.
  • Support the development and implementation of standardized recruitment processes and procedures.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidates to ensure a strong match with job requirements and cultural fit.
  • Manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and feedback.
  • Extend job offers and negotiate terms with selected candidates.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires.
  • Coach and train hiring managers on recruitment best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or a similar role.
  • Experience using recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, job boards, and other sourcing platforms.
  • Experience in developing recruitment tools and coaching managers on best practices.
  • Previous recruitment experience in the mining or manufacturing industry is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming recruitment challenges.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
