Your New Company:
Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a oil and gas company located in Calgary AB. We are looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join their team on a contract basis of 9 months, which has the possibility of extension/ permanent.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating offers.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Leverage various sourcing techniques, including social media, job boards, and networking, to attract top talent.
• Maintain a high requisition load while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Provide strategic consultation to the business on recruiting best practices, market trends, and talent acquisition strategies.
• Work closely with the talent acquisition team to ensure alignment and consistency in recruitment processes and practices.
• Track and report on key recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of hiring strategies and processes.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of corporate recruiting experience, ideally within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven ability to manage a high requisition load while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Strong consulting skills with the ability to influence and advise business leaders on recruitment strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies, Workday preferred.
