Talent Acquisition Associate – 12 Month Contract

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Associate to join our talent acquisition team in Vancouver for a 12-month contract. This role will play a crucial part in supporting recruitment operations, coordinating hiring efforts, and assisting with campus recruitment initiatives in Vancouver. You will work closely with our talent acquisition team and hiring managers to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Coordination
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, coordinating assessments, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
- Act as the main point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates and guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain job postings across multiple platforms and ensure accurate job descriptions.
- Assist with onboarding activities, including offer letter preparation and background checks.
Campus Recruitment & School Partnerships
- Coordinate campus recruitment efforts, including organizing career fairs, networking events, and information sessions.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and student organizations to strengthen our employer brand.
- Support internship and co-op hiring processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience for students and recent graduates.
Sourcing & Candidate Engagement
- Assist in sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and professional networks.
- Initiate contact with passive and active candidates through outreach efforts, including email, phone, and social media.
- Maintain and update talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in recruitment coordination, campus recruitment, or talent acquisition support.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office, and other recruitment tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build relationships with candidates, schools, and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
