To assist the instructor as required with marking and grading assignments and examinations, the preparation of class materials and assignments, and leading seminars and discussion groups. TAs must be available to attend regular meetings with the instructor if required, and be available to attend some classes in the course to which they are assigned if required by the instructor. Please note, completing the department's TA training program will be mandatory commencing Fall 2017.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the subject matter to be dealt with in the class in question. Advanced undergraduate and graduate standing. Preference is given to honours and graduate students in the Sociology Department. Please note, you must be a University of Regina student, currently enrolled in full-time studies, to apply for this position.
