Working Hrs: 7.25 Hrs. / day

ONSITE ROLE

NOTE: This position is currently listed as "Onsite"; however, the Assignment under this request will provisionally be "Hybrid", working 7.25 hours per calendar day, sometime between 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive, unless otherwise identified. These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment, you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Manager's requirements for the Project you are assigned to.

NOTE: OPP-2 Security Clearances could take approximately 10 weeks to process.

Must Have:

1. Expertise in mobile and portable radio networks/systems.
2. Knowledge of public safety radio/telecommunications, and related technologies.
3. Demonstrated experience in communications and relationship management.

Technical Skills
50 points
• Expertise in mobile and portable radio networks/systems.
• Knowledge of all sub-system components involved in the ministry or public safety service provider telecommunications system such as mobile, portable base radios and repeaters, standby and backup power systems, and radio system switches and communications consoles to analyze and diagnose system design and components.
• System design criteria and theoretical principles.
• Experience in overseeing User Equipment Installations.

Communication Skills
20 points
• Writing skills in developing Equipment Installations Guide, Negotiating skills.

Public Sector Experience
5 points
• 5 Years of Experience.

Knowledge Transfer
• Documented Installations Guides.
• Project Manager / Team members.
1:1 meetings / team meetings / documentation on SharePoint site, throughout the duration of the project life cycle etc.
