Overview:
The System Analyst, Security designs, implements, integrates and supports complex or campus-wide vendor-supplied and custom-built applications. You will focus on Security and Access activities relating to the IRP Student program.
The System Analyst, Security will work closely with end-users, analysts, technical leads, managers, integration service providers, and developers toward the design and implementation of effective Security and Access solutions using current industry tools and best practices.
You understand the challenges encountered by end-users as they work with data and translate them into sound requirements and high-quality solutions.
What you have:
- Experience with Security and Access design and delivery.
- Experience with data analysis and modeling, relevant development tools, specific application and system architecture.
- Knowledge and robust practical expertise with delivery of large-scale security and access deliverables, including specification, engagement with multiple teams and integration partners, vendor/service provider management, operationalizing and sustaining security and access services.
- Experience in writing SQL Queries and data analysis.
Would be great if you had:
- Experience leading the definition of requirements, evaluation, and deployment of software products for Security and Access as well as IAM services.
- Knowledge of Workday Security
What you will be doing:
- Defines, estimates, and proposes Security and Access related solutions for accessing Workday and other point solutions in IRP Student while working in collaboration with business functional teams.
- Creates the overall security and access design - conceptual, logical, and physical representations, in collaboration with the Solution Architect, vendor experts, functional business analysts and the Enterprise Data Integration team.
- Assist with designing User-based Security roles.
- Get a good understanding of role-based roles in the system.
- Document and manage provisioning and deprovisioning process.
- Conducts testing to ensure Security user-based roles meet specifications.
- Coordinates vendor contributions in security and access paradigm.
- Prepare access specifications and manage the process of producing specifications.
- Manages the service provider relationship with the program stakeholders to ensure alignment of deliverables, estimates, scheduling, quality, and testing objectives.
- Perform other duties as required.
