The System Administrator is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to the IT department and end-users. This role involves coordinating IT projects, managing IT inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and services. The System Analyst will also assist in troubleshooting technical issues, implementing IT policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
Responsibilities
Technical Support
Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers & Systems, ensuring operational uptime and performance.
Perform routine system updates, patches, and upgrades across all IT platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to systems, and hardware for end-users.
Monitor system health, performance metrics, and ensure proactive issue resolution.
Troubleshoot technical problems and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
Project Coordination
Assist in coordinating IT projects, including planning, scheduling, and tracking project timelines and milestones.
Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to ensure project objectives are met.
Prepare project documentation and reports as required.
Inventory Management
Track and maintain an inventory of hardware, software licenses, and other IT assets.
Manage procurement and disposal of IT assets in accordance with company policies.
Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with IT inventory standards.
System Maintenance
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and security checks.
Monitor system performance and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security policies and procedures.
User Training and Support
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users in system operations, software applications, and IT infrastructure.
Develop and maintain user guides and documentation to assist users in resolving common technical issues.
Conduct IT orientation sessions for new employees.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure all systems and processes comply with industry standards, IT policies, and regulations.
Prepare and present regular reports on system performance, uptime, security, and project statuses to management.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve IT infrastructure.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in system administration or related technical roles.
Proven experience with VMware, virtualization technologies, and Veeam backup solutions.
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams management.
Expertise in managing Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, and Azure AD.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, device management, and Autopilot.
Required Skills/Abilities
ITIL Certification or equivalent relevant certifications.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Entra AD, Intune (Office 365 Basic Fundamental certification).
Good Knowledge of Microsoft Intune Autopilot system for provisioning and managing devices.
Knowledge of VMware Management and Veeam backup technologies.
Experience with IT project management and coordination.
Knowledge of IT security principles and practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and IT management tools.
