System Administrator

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for a seasoned Linux system administrator to help us manage and grow D2C Media’s infrastructure. The system admin team both supports the development team and the production environment. You will participate in designing, planning, configuring and maintaining all the various systems D2C Media has. This role also requires on-call rotation.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Configure, maintain servers and software
2. Support the development team in their daily tasks
3. Help the support team by investigating any issues related to the infrastructure
4. Provide after-hours support / on-call service to meet our uptime SLA

ABOUT YOU

1. Minimum 5 years experience working as a Linux system administrator in a highly available environment
2. Experience with physical datacenter management (racking, cabling)
3. Strong experience with Linux (RHEL7 and 9), LAMP stack, and networking
4. Experience with DNS, NFS, Firewalls
5. Excellent at troubleshooting complex problems
6. Bash shell scripting, PHP is a plus
7. Knowledge of Git, CI/CD
8. Autonomous, Organized, Multitask, Learn and understand quickly

Preferred:

1. DevOps experience (Ansible, Terraform, etc) is a big plus
2. Experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, DNS, WAF) is a big plus
3. AWS experience

Salary Information

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position which is not inclusive of bonuses, benefits, or other forms of compensation that the position may be eligible for. If you are hired at D2C Media, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills and/or experience. If the salary range is close to what you're seeking, then we encourage you to apply and learn more about the total compensation package for this position.

Salary Range: $81,000 — $99,200 CAD
