Position: Operations Lead (30 hours per week)

The Role: This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of operational challenges and is passionate about continuous improvement. We are seeking a hands-on, solutions-oriented Operations Lead to manage and optimize our container logistics, warehouse operations, and partner coordination. As a key member of our small but mighty team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of Suppli's growing returnable packaging network. Success in this role starts with a focus on execution, attention to detail, and adaptability to tackle challenges as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Container Logistics:
- Schedule and oversee pickups from return bins and deliveries to partner restaurants using our scheduling tools.
- Continuously improve scheduling tools and processes based on user feedback.
- Warehouse Management:
- Execute tasks such as creating and shipping return bins to new partners, labeling new containers, unloading shipments, and packing restaurant orders.
- Optimize warehouse processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- On-Site Presence:
- Be onsite at our shared Junction location in Toronto 1–3 days per week to oversee physical materials and support team activities.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and partner satisfaction.
- Look for ways to automate existing processes and become more efficient.
- Problem Solving:
- Act as a point of ownership for operational challenges, collaborating with the team to resolve issues promptly.
- Partner Coordination:
- Professionally manage relationships with third-party partners, including corporate clients, restaurants, dishwashing facilities, and catering companies.

- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where flexibility is key.
- Ability to work 1-2 hours virtually on Sundays before 6pm.
- Driver’s License and openness to driving company vehicle would be beneficial.
