What will you do?

As a Sustainability Management Intern, you will provide strategic support for the Siemens Canada CEO and Sustainability Manager in the following capacities, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive research on key markets and industry verticals to provide data-driven insights for strategic planning and thought leadership to uncover emerging sustainability opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Analyze successful applications of AI/GEN across industries, with a particular focus on sustainability.
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of sustainability-driven business initiatives and opportunities.
  • Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and supporting materials to effectively pitch Siemens Canada solutions to clients and stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and advance new sustainability-related projects and strategic partnerships.
  • Support business requests from Siemens Canada CEO, as they arise.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Sustainability or Business.
  • Knowledge of corporate sustainability and decarbonization.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize complex information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Collaborative with an ability to cultivate relationships and networks.
  • Agile Creative thinker with an ability for resourcefulness.
